How it works
To find what percent X is of Y, divide X by Y and multiply by 100. The formula is:
(X ÷ Y) × 100
Example. What percent is 45 of 180? 45 ÷ 180 = 0.25. Multiply by 100 = 25. So 45 is 25 percent of 180.
