How it works
To turn a percentage into a decimal, divide it by 100. This moves the decimal point two places to the left.
Decimal = Percentage ÷ 100
Example. 75 percent becomes 0.75 when written as a decimal. 12.5 percent becomes 0.125. 2 percent becomes 0.02.
